Director of Client Success

As the Director of Client Success, you will have day-to-day relationships with our clients and various internal teams. In addition, you will act as the steward and mentor for the full account team, ensuring strong team unity while optimizing talent utilization and growth among all team members. The Director of Client Success will also manage their own individual accounts.

This is a critical client partner role demonstrating leadership, strategic direction, accountability, business acumen, and vision for the portfolio of businesses. You will lead the Client Success team to provide overall leadership and strategic direction. You will be expected to effectively leverage experience, knowledge, and skills to drive innovative thinking to meet team goals and objectives by balancing client, company, and team needs.


  • Mentor the team to maximize individuals’ growth and harness the strengths and opportunities of each team member
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with key customers
  • Maximize revenue through identifying new content licensing opportunities
  • Create, implement, and maintain account strategies that build revenue
  • Evaluate existing business processes and suggest improvements
  • Responsible for developing and meeting business KPI’s
  • Oversee and develop business plans to create, implement, and maintain account strategies that build revenue through account reviews
  • Establish and grow strong relationships with senior client stakeholders through a demonstration of industry knowledge
  • Manage the team ensuring all team members are delegated work appropriate for their level and experience and that the team remains challenged and engaged
  • Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with the team
  • Create and present strategic PowerPoint presentations for top clients
  • Attend trade shows as needed
  • Travel nationwide 15% of the time


  • Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Account management/Client Succes experience -Associate Account Director/Account Director experience
  • University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, Project Management or related field a plus
  • Direct client service experience, attention to detail are a must
  • Strong communicator/relationship builder
  • Demonstrated supervisory, delegation, and strong mentorship skills
  • Proven track record of client and team success
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Powerpoint
  • Salesforce knowledge a plus
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on sales trends
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the year
